Here's a little bit about myself...

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Marcus O. Roberts. Guess around on the "O" cause I'm not gonna tell you what it stands for. To make it easier on everyone, just call me Bones (spelled BONZ). I was born in that windy city. Nope... yeah that's the one... Chicago. Later, I moved to a small town in Mississippi called Port Gibson; a town proclaimed by Gen. U. Grant, "The town TOO beautiful to burn". I am the CEO and Lead Designer of my own company, BOS Printing, where we specialize in creative printing projects. I am a SENIOR at Mississippi School of the Arts. For those of you that don't know, I am a member of the schools inaugural (first) class. I am a former member of TSA, FBLA, JSO/YCW, and SGA. There is another organization that I am not sure I'm still a member of: the Kappa League. My line-name, ladies don't get offended because it means nuthing, is Silent Pimp. Go Figure! I can sing too, just don't ask me to cause that's when you'll get a crappy job. I am the Vice President of both: the Rose Hill Junior Choir and the Rose Hill Inspirational Choir. At my church, I'm the sound technician and sometimes the drummer. (Local Folks, let me know where I can find a bass drum petal for cheap. Thank you!) I atend church every Sunday at somebody's church. Not always cause I wanna either. My step-father is a Baptist minster.

I am the son of Larry and Felicia Roberts. Currently, we (my mom and I) reside with my step-father, the Rev. Rosevelt Harried. My dad has resently moved from Chicago also. He lives in Wisconsin. I have been fortunate enough to actually build a relationship with him. The more time I spend with him, the more I see that we are alike. People you think that I look and act like my mom.... that's only half true. I look like my mom and we have similar characeristic but when it comes to personality, that's my dad almost all the way. Almost everything, even the temper and driving habits. Go Figure... this is a man that I didn't know for the majority of my childhood, but when I get to know him, I began to see myself. My dad works in Chi for right now but is looking for work more close to home. A two hour drive in each direction just doesn't work with the gas prices these days. As for my mom, she works at Alcorn State University. The reverand is a highway inspector for MDOT and works in Natchez, MS.
